Ni-TED is an affinity chromatography resin that binds TED ligands chelated with nickel ions to agarose microspheres. Due to the strong chelating ability of TED on nickel ions, Ni-TED can tolerate high concentrations of EDTA and DTT. It is suitable for the separation and purification of EDTA- or DTT-containing genetically engineered proteins labeled with His-Tag, and biomolecules capable of interacting with Ni2+. Ni-TED has stable performance and is resistant to EDTA, DTT and NaOH, and can be used for sampling without pretreatment. With high dynamic adsorption capacity, it can be docked to commonly used chromatography equipment and be able to clean directly with NaOH without Ni removal, which greatly shortens the cleaning cycle.
